☉♍ ☽♏ Asc.♒ This blog is a glimpse into the journey of an aspiring astrologer; I wish to share my thoughts and insights on astrological matters as I delve into this subject. I am only a novice as of now, but I am striving every day to understand astrology more fully and deeply so that one day I will proudly call myself an "astrologer". Many entries will pertain to my own natal astrology, or that of friends and family. There will however be plenty of information on all of the signs and other aspects of astrology, as the purpose of this blog is in many ways to record notes as I learn. Questions pertaining to personal astrology or astrology in general are always welcome! Answering questions gives me even more opportunities to practice and hone the skill. Eventually, when I am confident in my abilities and well-learned, chart interpretations will be available.

Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac and is a mutable air sign. It is symbolized by the twins and is also representative of the young child stage in the human life cycle. Gemini’s planetary ruler is Mercury and its season is Spring. Gemini embodies sociability, adaptability, wit, friendliness, and a love of knowledge. Geminis are interested in just about anything and everything, to a point. They are sort of a “jack of all trades,” and are often regarded for knowing a little about a lot; their knowledge tends to be more broad than it is deep. Nevertheless, the twins’ thirst for information is strong. This never-ending wonder makes the Gemini an interesting character, and they are almost always eager to share their thoughts with others, unless confined by a more reserved Moon or Mercury. Generally Geminis are good natured and friendly, finding joy in socialization. It will be harder to get them to shut up than to get them to start talking! And the twins always have something new and exciting buzzing in their heads. Sometimes their flitting interest may give the appearance of being scatter-brained, and their lack of concern for the complexity of topics may even be perceived as shallow. The twins just aren’t the type to plunge into any one subject too deeply, and they are more interested in intellectual topics rather than emotional ones. Geminis are renowned for their adaptability; they have the ability to find interest in almost anything and to befriend almost anyone. Their personality can shift with ease, but this flexibility comes with the price of appearing “two-faced”. Albeit friendly, the twins may not be the easiest to form an intimate friendship with, and they’re probably not the ones to confide a secret in or any personal emotional matters. Regardless, Geminis are incredibly enjoyable to talk to, particularly about light-hearted things. The twins will keep those around them on their toes and entertained, as they follow their curiosity to the end.
